Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has backed new Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca to surprise people by leading the club to major trophies and Champions League qualification quickly.
The 25-year-old joined Leicester from former bosses in a £30million deal last month after impressing as the Foxes won the Championship and secured promotion to the Premier League last season.
“The manager was a big catalyst for me wanting to come here,” Dewsbury-Hall told Ufabet Sport.
“I know from Leicester, a club that was relegate and had a lot of problems, how he can motivate the team if everyone accepts the system.”
“I really think in a short period of time we can at least challenge for the top four, but maybe even more.”
“He may not be know to many people yet ยูฟ่าเบท, but he’s top-notch. He’s going to surprise a lot of people.”
Dewsbury-Hall was Leicester’s Player of the Year last season under Maresca as an attacking midfielder, scoring 12 goals and providing 15 assists.
He is in contention to make his Chelsea debut in Saturday’s pre-season friendly against Celtic in Notre Dame, California, having missed the 2-2 draw at Wrexham.
Dewsbury-Hall believes Maresca will be successful where other managers, such as Mauricio Pochettino, Graham Potter and Thomas Tuchel, have struggled under the Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital ownership.
